What the Judges are looking for in entries

This is just a basic run down of our criteria.
:bulletblue:Story: Was it presented and executed well? Did you keep the story going or did it get stale?
:bulletblue:Art: effort, is clear, visually balanced, and executed well.
:bulletblue:Characterization: Was it spot on or were all the characters depicted poorly?
:bulletblue:Flow: Was it easy to read? Were some of the parts confusing, was the dialogue awkward if there was any at all, and were the panels composed well?

We are not judging based on a point system.

Spectator Entries (SE)

Spectator entries of course are allowed. They will not be judged or scrutinized. They may be written or drawn. If a contestants wishes their SE to be used as a prologue to their next entry that is also allowed.

:bulletwhite:What is an SE?

:bulletblue: SE stands for Spectator Entry.  A spectator entry is a comic in which your character can interact with other characters without actually fighting them.  SEs are just for fun, and while they serve to further your character's storyline, they don't have any impact on how your actual battles are judged.

:bulletblue: People who are not contestants in the tournament can also make spectator entries, in which their OCs interact with the tournament fighters.  You can make as many SEs as you want.  This is a good opportunity for character building and interacting with the other contestants.  You can continue to make SEs even after you've been eliminated from the tournament.

:bulletred: Do not harass the judges.
:bulletred: If a contestant is causing a ruckus or bullying anyone, please notify one of the judges or the host.
